March is
Color Therapy Month!
Need to
relax? Color Therapy or Chroma Therapy, draws from the concept of colors—their
meaning, and the vibrations that comes from their energy. According to the Aura
House School of Color and Light, the creators of Color Therapy Month, when the
energy in your body is not in harmony, it can be easily detected by physical,
mental, emotional and even spiritual discomfort. Chroma Therapist seek to
balance your physical and spiritual energy through breathing and color
visualization techniques.
Similar to
the principles of Feng Shu, Color therapy goes beyond therapy sessions. Physical therapists believe that finding
colors that fit into your everyday life will bring calm and relaxation and
culminate a balanced physical and spiritual state of being.
There is so
much more to color therapy, and I have yet to scratch the surface. The entire
month of March is dedicated to discovering the natural healing techniques of
color therapy. If nothing else, take the
time out this month to add a little color to your world.
