March is Noodle Month!

Not to be confused with Pasta Month which is in October,  Noodle Month stands apart uniquely.  Unless you are a carb enthusiast or apart of the culinary world, you would be surprised there is a fundamental difference between pasta and noodles. The National Pasta Association recognizes that noodles must contain at least 5.5% egg solids by weight. Under Italian law Pasta must contain durum wheat.

Foodie awareness months are always the  most fun.  It's great them for a party, and who doesn't love a craft that involves noodles.  There are so many fun facts for this carb loaded treat, and if you're dieting, it is an excellent reason to cheat.

If you choose to skip Noodle Month, no worries, you will have another opportunity on Noodle Day, October 6th!
